He has been elected twice in succession as a first-class committee gazette member of the Tamil Nadu Homeopathy Council, which is an advisory body to the government. He has also served as a member of the board of examiners in the council and conducted examinations for D.H.M.S., D.Pharm and refresher courses for registered medical practitioners.He was elected thrice as vice-president to the Qualified Homoeopaths of Madurai, and organised many CME programmes, seminars and camps.

As secretary to the Alumni Association of the Government Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Tirumangalam, he had organised the silver jubilee function of the college. He also renders service to the poor as a vice-president and research medical officer of Human Care and Homeopathic Research Centre, Madurai.
